Do you enjoy being creative and thinking outside the box? Are you curious about the tech sector? Join our training program to become a Web Developer!

In this program, you’ll get the skills and training you need to get a job as a Web Developer. This bootcamp style training will be part-time (10:00am – 2:30pm AEST), 5 days a week for 14 weeks. This includes technical training combined with hands-on projects and employability skills development.

Here is a real example of what a week in the program will look like.*

*At times, your classroom calendar may show blocks of ‘Flex Time’ and your instructors may not be available to support you on a 1:1 basis during this time.

What is a Web Developer?

As a Web Developer, you will be a pioneer in web design. Your role will enable you to create content, help clients create websites and features, and support your team to resolve coding issues.

The workplace for you could mean a global company in a team of 500 or a community-driven firm in a team of 5.

In this digital age, web development is everywhere, from sales to security to sustainability. It’s up to you where you want to go next.

* once the program is over, you will be responsible for driving the engagement with the post-program team and making use of the offers and support available.

Can I apply?

You can apply for the program if you:

  • Can demonstrate your interest in tech
  • Are not currently in full-time employment, education or training
  • Can attend online classes 5 days a week, 10:00am-2:30pm AEST for 14 weeks
  • Are an Australian citizen or permanent resident equivalent
  • Have basic English literacy skills and numeracy skills
  • Live in Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide

Our team will work with you to offer personalised support based on your learning needs, however, due to the intensity of the program it may not be possible for all learning needs.

    There will be some online tasks related to the program and an opportunity for you to tell us a little about you.

    Meet us

    We will check your eligibility for the program and invite you to an online interview. Don’t worry though, this interview is just a casual chat with a member of the Generation team.

  4. 10 minutes 4

    Enrolment

    If you are selected to participate, you will be invited to fill out an online Generation enrolment form to secure your spot on the program.

  5. 2 days 5

    Orientation (online)

    The first two days of the course are Orientation days. During these days, you will get to meet your instructors, program coordinator, and fellow classmates. We will go through everything you need to know to start the program together.
