What to expect

 ✔ Interactive workshops about exciting careers in the care sector, including in Aged Care, Disability Support Work and Child Care

 ✔ Workshops with leading care sector employers where we will cover topics like:

    • Why is this employer a great place to work?
    • What career opportunities are available with this employer?
    • What does a ‘day in the life’ look like for these roles?
    • What information do I need to put in my resume and cover letter to stand out?
    • How do I navigate the process of pre-employment and background checks?

 ✔ Workshops with TAFEs and RTOs where we will cover answers to questions like:

    • What qualifications do I need to work in Aged Care/Disability Support Work/Child Care?
    • What are the entry requirements for different qualifications or courses?
    • What kind of practical work experience or industry networks might I be able to gain while studying?
    • What kind of roles can I enter after completing a qualification?
    • What study mode and location options are available? (e.g., online, on-campus etc.)
    • What further study opportunities are available?
    • Workshops will be delivered both online and in-person.
